The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in 2024 under the School of Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences with the objective of delivering high-quality education and research in the field of pharmacy. The department commenced its Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) program in the academic year 2024–2025, approved from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. It is well equipped with modern laboratories, well-furnished classrooms, and seminar halls to facilitate an effective teaching–learning environment.

The department is dedicated to academic excellence and the promotion of advanced research across multiple pharmaceutical domains. It provides extensive training in patient counseling, drug information services, medication reconciliation, health screening, community outreach programs, health awareness initiatives, medical camps, industrial training, and educational tours.

The laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure to support academic learning and research activities. These facilities enable students to gain practical exposure to contemporary industrial practices and modern research methodologies in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The department is supported by experienced and committed faculty members who play a pivotal role in strengthening students’ technical knowledge, professional skills, and research aptitude, thereby preparing them for successful careers in industry and research organizations.

A key highlight is strong focus on experiential and hands-on learning. Students actively participate in real-time research projects under the guidance of faculty members, which helps them develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and practical competencies required to address emerging global healthcare challenges.
