HBTU Purchase section

Every department/ division of the university puts up the purchase requisition after due approval from the departmental/ divisional purchase committee. The articles having cost more than 01 Lakh needs to be approved from the central purchase committee.Every purchase process is conducted through GEM portal/ other different modes as per the guidelines of the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. The firm awarded with the work supplies the articles to the central store of the university against the respective purchase order released by the purchase section. The central store of the university issues the received article to the respective department of the university following the necessary procedures. Besides this, the bill invoice raised by the respective firm is produced to the purchase section after due stock entry in the department so as by the central store. The central purchase section processes the bill after following all the necessary procedures and produces it to the finance division of the university for the release of payment.
