The University is committed for overall personality development of the students. The USAC activities are aimed at grooming extra-curriculum skills of the students. It has nine sub-councils. These sub-councils & clubs are:

The activities of each sub-councils are managed by a committee consisting of a faculty member as its convener, elected student secretary, two nominated staff members & two nominated student members. The sports sub-council has a Physical Instructor as an additional member. The USAC activities are funded from the fees collected from the students as well as from the grants received from the Government or other agencies for the purpose. The University has two play-ground with adequate facilities for most of the outdoor & indoor games like Basketball, Football, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Cricket & Gymnastics. The Hobby sub-council possesses two projectors (16mm & 35mm). The Photography sub-council has facilities for developing films, photo, printing & enlarging photographs related to literary & cultural activities. An auditorium equipped with good light & sound system exists. The Cultural sub-council has an orchestra of its own which is fully managed by students. The students are not only encouraged to take part in all the activities of the council but are also evaluated regularly based on their participation & performance in them.
